Speakers labeled via automated voice-based diarization + AI name-matching against the city's official roster. Automated transcription can still mis-hear a name during fast speech (e.g. a rapid roll-call vote) -- clear near-misses are auto-corrected, but this is not manually verified line-by-line. Treat names as a strong best guess, not an official record.
[2:33] Select Board member: Are you going to that building? [2:38] Mark Steinbach: 19 is up there, that's okay, I know what Christina drives you. [2:45] Select Board member: Live in New Gloucester, it's in New Gloucester, you should know, I go run there, I go run there all the time, and I have no idea where Building 19 is beyond the marketplace and the old outdoor center, I don't know where anything is, yeah, that's it, minutes, we'll start right at five, but it won't be long, one thing on the agenda, that's it, so we're appointing them code enforcement officer and licensed plumbing inspector, they started the day early, but they didn't this year, all right, good enough, we're good. Lindsay, all right, we'll go ahead and test, there we go, we'll go ahead and call the meeting to order, we're all in a special meeting today just for the sole purpose of appointing a new code enforcement officer, that will, that is the only thing on the agenda, we're not gonna do any public comment or anything else, so that will be the only purpose, the only thing on the agenda, before I make the motion for the appointment though, I am going to let Brit kind of introduce or at least give us a little. Background on Mark, and then I'll make the motion from there, okay, so Mark Stonbach had. [5:45] Mark Steinbach: We're presenting as code enforcement officer, he has been a code enforcement officer since 2003. He recently left the town of Lisbon, and he was kind enough to offer to help us in the interim and get us through. He's been doing it for quite some time, and prior to that he was in construction, so happy to try and answer any questions about him, but I've only met him for a short bit. Any questions? [6:22] Select Board member: All right. I'm going to go ahead and make a motion then to appoint Mark Steinbach as the North Yarmouth Code Enforcement Officer and Licensed Plumbing Inspector. Do I have a second? Second. Any discussion? All in favor? Or nothing. As this was a special meeting, just so it's on the record, Andrea was not available. We were just trying to make sure we got a quorum together to get the special meeting done in order to get this appointment done to fill in an empty position. So if there's no other issue from the board, I'm going to go ahead and make a motion to adjourn. Do I have a second? All in favor? We're adjourned.
